Coaching between shots, not after the range
Reviewing a session afterwards tells you what happened. Live Practice records as you hit and tells you while you can still do something about it — comparing each shot against your own baseline for that club and talking to you before you set up for the next one.
Your baseline, not a textbook's
Averages, trends and the expectations the coaching reasons from are computed from the shots you have hit. A 7 iron that carries 158 is unremarkable for one golfer and a career shot for another, and a number that ignores which of those you are is not worth saying out loud.

How much it says is up to you, from a single number per shot through to full delivery commentary — or nothing at all.
Nothing is saved until you say so
A live session is held as you go and written into your history only when you choose to keep it. End a session and you are asked; discard it and nothing was ever recorded.
- A closed tab does not lose the session. Come back and the one in progress is offered, rather than silently replaced by a new one.
- Clubs match what you already have. A live "driver" and an imported "Driver" are the same club, by the same name rules the importer uses.
- Saving files it under the right player, alongside the history you imported, so the two are one dataset rather than two.
Practice, then review, then practice again
A saved live session is an ordinary session. It appears in your history by date, opens into its shots, and feeds the same averages the next live session will compare against — which is the point of keeping it.
